Monday, May 23, 2005 In about nine hours, I drag my sorry carcass out of bed. Two and a half hours after that I'll be on an airliner starting the trip to the far side of the Atlantic. Amazingly, most everything that's needed to get done has gotten done. With a minimum of fuss. Sometimes I am such a grown-up. A few loose ends remain, among them finding a home for groceries that haven't already been polished off and connecting with a friend or two. The final few hours in this city I love. (For this time around.) Back online sometime after arrival in northern Vermont. CuĂdate. ************* Selling lottery tickets on the corner of Hortaleza and Augusto Figueroa, Madrid: ![]() Madrid, te quiero. rws 12:55 PM [+]
